About Legal Advocates, LLC
Attorneys at Legal Advocates, LLC are all licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut and are available via phone or e-mail to answer your legal questions Monday through Saturday during office hours and can often respond outside of office hours. Our team endeavors to put our clients in a better financial position. In order to do so, we focus on helping clients obtain, sell or refinance their homes. We can also help our clients plan for the unpredictable future by developing an estate planning strategy. In addition to real estate and estate planning services, we can help clients navigate through the difficult endeavor of a divorce or child custody matter.

Shari Ann Madho, Esq.
Shari Ann Madho is the Managing Partner at Legal Advocates, LLC. Shari primarily practices in the area of real estate and has conducted over a thousand residential real estate closings across the state of Connecticut. Shari also has experience in other areas of law such as insurance law, family law, trust and estates, business organization and contracts. She is also a Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company (“CATIC”) agent. Shari graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2010, and is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut, State of New York and District of Columbia. In July 2021, she was named Women of the Month by P.O.W.E.R. magazine. Attorney Madho currently sits on the board of a non-profit, Bottoms Up Organization, that helps patients afford the costs associated with having Crohn’s disease and colitis. In her free time, Shari enjoys spending time with her family and working with her husband to renovate their Victorian home.
Brent Madho, Esq.
Brent Madho is a Partner at Legal Advocates LLC. Brent practices primarily in the area of Real Estate and has conducted closings throughout the State of Connecticut. Brent also practices in the areas of estate planning and business administration. Brent graduated from Western New England University School of Law where he earned several awards in the areas of Patent Law, Law Office Management, and Taxation. In addition, Brent was awarded the Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company Award for excellence in the area of Real Property Law. Brent enjoys reading, rollerblading, ice skating and yard work.
Alyssa Turner, Esq.
Alyssa Turner is an Associate Attorney for Legal Advocates, LLC, practicing primarily in real estate law. She graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2013 with a concentration in tax law and is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut. While in law school, she served in the tax clinic and clerked at a Probate Court. Before coming to Legal Advocates LLC, she clerked in Superior Court on the family and civil side for a few years, and then served as a law clerk in private practice for family law and worker’s compensation for another few years. Shortly after joining our team, she became a Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company (“CATIC”) agent. Attorney Turner currently lives in Wethersfield with her husband, three children, and their dog.
Joseph F. Ross, Esq.
Joseph F. Ross is an Associate Attorney at Legal Advocates, LLC. He is a lifelong resident of Connecticut who earned a Bachelor of Science in Justice and Law Administration from Western Connecticut State University in 2006 and his Juris Doctorate from Western New England University School of Law in 2010. He began practicing at a boutique firm specializing primarily in regulatory compliance for the mortgage industry, before moving on as a staff attorney handling the compilation of title commitments and review of title policies. His current position has a primary focus on settlement services for residential real estate transactions. He also enjoys working on legal drafting primarily of residential rental agreements, as well as operating agreements for small business organizations, and creating estate planning documents for estates up to 2 million dollars, He has also conducted hundreds of real estate closings throughout the State of Connecticut. He lives in Naugatuck with his partner and enjoys gardening, reading and cooking in his spare time.
Raymond Colla, Esq.
Attorney Ray Colla, a Connecticut native, graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law with honors in 1997 and was admitted to the Connecticut bar that same year. Upon graduating, Ray entered the legal world in downtown Hartford, where he practiced at several large, highly-regarded law firms, initially practicing in the area of corporate finance and then moving into estate planning, business planning and probate, which he still greatly enjoys. From Ray’s perspective, these areas of the law are the most rewarding to practice in, affording him the opportunity to make a positive and long-lasting impact on his clients’ lives, helping them to plan for their future as well as the futures of their children and grandchildren. When he’s not working with his clients creating estate plans and navigating the probate process, Ray enjoys spending time out in nature with his dog and best friend, Tucker.
Jeremiah Ollennu, Esq.
Jeremiah served as a family law clerk for the Superior Court of Middlesex where he gained valuable courtroom experience in Family Law. Jeremiah graduated from Vermont Law School in 2006, and completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.,) studies in International Economic Law at the University of Kent, Canterbury, U.K. Jeremiah was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2006, and is a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association and American Bar Association. Attorney Jeremiah N. Ollennu has dedicated his legal career to the practice of divorce and family law. Since 2008, he provides reconciliation counseling, assists couples in collaborative divorce, divorce mediation and rigorously represents clients in family, custody and dissolution of marriage disputes. Attorney Ollenu is licensed to practice law both in the United States and in Ghana.
